The Pennycomequick is a beautiful Cornish pub located on The Moor in Falmouth.
Pennycomequick means “head of the creek” and is the old Celtic name for Falmouth.
Dating back to the mid 1700’s the pub has a cosy, friendly atmosphere and a fantastic range of the finest beers, ciders, spirits, wines and coffee.
Our menu changes monthly depending on what produce we get in from the Cornish fields, farms and ocean. Our passion is for great quality, honest, locally sourced food, cooked simply with love.
At the heart of our pub you'll find our people, we are passionate about making each and every one of our customers feel welcome and relaxed.

We think Cornwall is brilliant! We love the fantastic produce it has on offer from its fields, farms and ocean. We source these ingredients very locally and cook them simply with love, to create honest, quality, great-tasting food.
Our menus change frequently to make the most of seasonal ingredients and we regularly update our specials boards. Feel free to download our sample menus for a taste of what we’re serving up this season.

A TASTE OF CORNWALL AND BEYOND
We are proud of our roots and serve local ales from St Austell Brewery alongside cask ales and other draught beers from Cornwall and further afield.
Try the celebrated, award winning St Austell Tribute with a wonderful light, hoppy, zesty and clean finish or discover something new from our range of regularly rotating guest ales.
We feature the famous cornish Cider 'Rattler' from Healey's cider farm in Newquay, alongside a range of flavoured or dry cider options
We serve up a fine range of carefully selected wines and alongside the usual spirits you'll find some real treats to discover, many of which are made in small batches here in Cornwall.
